Foggy Mountain Folks

These flowers are pretty ..But.. they keep spreading and i keep thinning them out. I have tried to kill them out but they just keep coming back.These flowers bloom every evening.That is why they are called Four o`clocks.They are a old  Flower from years ago.

In a slow cooker place a whole chicken or enough parts of chicken to make a whole chicken. Pour 1 can of beer over the chicken Add 1 tsp. garlic 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp parsley A dash of red pepper flakes opt. Salt and pepper to taste. cook on high for 4 or 5 hours It will fall  to pieces  and so tender.

That Rooster can say that again..though don`t get me wrong I am not looking forward to the freezing cold winter either.In Tennessee i think that we quit having Fall and Spring. We just have Hot and Cold.

My son raising Chickens was a shock to me. I burst out laughing.I think he got tired of buying cold storage eggs.My mom raised chickens and i grew up around them and milking cows and pigs and such but i never raised anything but i did put out  a really small garden..Well here is one of the roosters that he raised plus he raised a lot of hens.The rooster is his alarm clock now.He did a really good job ,so i am proud of him.

Recipe; 3 eggs separated 3 tablespoons cream cheese room temp. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder or cream of tarter You can add Honey ,syrup,garlic salt or what you taste is.I just use my bread for sandwich`s >>>>>>>>> Preheat oven 300 degrees separate the yolks from the whites of the eggs in one bowl mix egg yolks cream cheese and honey or what you choose to taste in second bowl add 1/4 tsp. baking powder to whites. Beat the whites until fluffy and peaks appear . slowly fold yolks into whites Quickly spoon mixture into a baking sheet ( greased my pan just a little  or i use parchment paper). bake 20 minutes or less I just keep a eye on mine so they don`t burn...Ovens differ.
