Ingredients
4 cups fresh strawberries, put into a baked pie crust
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1Tbsp light corn syrup
A dash of salt
1 baked pie crust
Directions
Step 1: Wash the strawberries and remove the green leaves on top
In a small cooker, put in the sugar, water, corn syrup, cream of tartar, and salt.
Step 2: Cook on medium heat until it comes to a boil, stirring occasionally so it won't burn.
Cook for about 5 minutes, then pour over the strawberries
Step 3: Let cool and top with whipped cream
