3 ingredient Martha White biscuits


In a large bowl, place 

2 cups self-rising Martha White flour

1/4 cup Crisco lard 

1 cup whole milk or buttermilk

First, mix the lard and flour until crumbly

Add the milk to get a dough, then roll out on a floured surface and knead the dough 5 or 6 times. Roll out and cut out the biscuits and place them in a greased baking pan or cast-iron skillet

Pour melted butter over them after they are golden brown and taken out of the oven.

Bake at 375 to 400 degrees F
