Easy Fruit Kuchen

 One and a half cups of Martha White Self-rising flour

1cup sugar, divided, 1 half cup in cold butter

1 half cup water

1 half cup whole milk, 1 large egg

3 cups fruit of your choice, fresh, canned, or frozen

1half tsps cinnimon

3tbls melted butter

Heat oven to 375 degrees

Combine flour and half a cup of sugar in a large bowl, and cut in  cold butter

In a small bowl, whisk egg and milk, and add to the dry ingredients; it needs to be moist.

Pour into a non-stick cooking spray pan

 Place the fruit on top of the dough. Mix the cinnamon with the other half cup of sugar and sprinkle on top.

Drizzle with melted butter and bake 28 to 35 minutes

makes 8 to 10 servings
