Simple pound cake

2sticks butter

3 cups sugar

6 eggs

1tsp vanilla

3 cups flour

1/2 pint whipping cream (don't whip) 

Put butter and sugar into an electric mixer and blend well.

Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well.

Add flour and whipping cream.

Place in a cold oven at 325 degrees.

Bake 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Bake in a Bundt cake pan. 

Serve with strawberries or your favorite fruit
